While waiting in a very long line at the Minnesota airport, I struck up some conversations with women who were carrying car seats for their children. From across the room I noticed a petite woman with blond hair carrying a navy blue convertible car seat, which I instantly recognized as the Britax Marathon.
I made my way over to her, and introduced myself as a marketer of car seats. She was very friendly and was happy to tell me all about the pros and the cons of the Britax Marathon 70 convertible car seat. She showed me the parts of the seat that she really liked, as well as a few things that she did not like – namely the weight and bulk of the Marathon 70.
The truth is that all convertible car seats are big and heavy, so the bulk of the seat really cannot be considered a flaw in its design.

So after buying a new Kolcraft reclining umbrella stroller, we head off to have a nice relaxing lunch at one of the nearby restaurants in the shopping mall. Unfortunately, my friend just realized that she forgot to bring her credit card so I told her not to worry about it as I will pay for lunch. I was just happy that she came along to help me pick up the baby stroller as I am not a very good shopper. I tend to look for the biggest and the most expensive stuff to buy. But since my friend followed me to the baby store, she told me that I did not pay so much money for an expensive baby stroller. I just needed to get a medium price range baby stroller that will be able to last me for around 3 years when taking my baby girl around for walks. I guess if she was not around, I would have ended up buying a really expensive baby stroller.
