Wedding Gifts Have Changed
Weddings and the traditions that surround them have truly changed over the last ten years. One of the main reasons for this is that the bride and grooms needs have changed. Nowadays, people live on their own for years before being married. I know that I personally have lived alone for about five years now. If I were to be married, there is not a whole lot I need for my kitchen or home. I have butchers blocks, pots and pans, and dining sets. In fact, I have more than I need and could donate some if I ever got around to it. On one hand it is good that I have all that I need. However, it would be nice to not have these things so that I could receive them as gifts when I got married. Oh well, I suppose that is the price I have to pay for being independent.
